August 16th marks a new turn of events
for me and hopefully for you and all of us.
We are campaigning for the proliferation
of compassion and for love to flow straight from our hearts.
The Sacred World Foundation along with
Udayan is planning a sitar concert at the NGMA at 6.30 pm titled
"Greening of the Macho" in which through the pulls of the Sitar
strings, we activate our compassion, we "green" our "hardness" and
spread compassion far and wide.
The Sacred World Foundation is one of
the world's leading design and research think tanks bridging technological
and traditional cultures, with innovation flourishing between both
cultures. It has paved the way for artists and craft persons from
developing nations, showing how culture can be driver of technological
innovation.
Artists: Ranjit Makkuni (Sitar), Mithilesh
Jha (Tabla).
Time: 6.30 pm.
Venue: NGMA, Cowasji hall auditorium.
It will be great to receive you at the
concert and to chat further after the music is over, over Bhel Puris
on the balcony of the NGMA.
